We develop advanced optical technologies for the study of organs and tissue in disease. In particular, we are interested in label-free microscopic imaging and spectroscopy techniques that facilitate the analysis of native tissue without contrast agents and processing. Our aims are to establish new research tools and to translate these technologies into clinical diagnostics and improved therapy monitoring in the future.
